    going to one place... does not count... going to several, gives you an idea, and driving around quite a bit while doing the previous... I would say an informed opinion ...

    but well if those are the worst hell holes in Belgium - well I agree - it's good to be here and get educated that not all of it is like that, and right now, I am beginning to understand the Flemish part a bit better. Getting classified into the same category as Wallonia .

      Namur is one of the better cities in Wallonia. Charleroi is a dilapidated city, ravaged by decades of bad government and pervasive corruption. It compares well with the average eastern european maffia city. Liège is something in between. Altogether, in Wallonia you should visit the smaller localities or the Ardennes instead of cities.
