First, anyone who uses UN numbers to make an argument has a really weak argument. The UN has less of a reputation than Iran or China do. I did get a good laugh out of it though since for some reason it's really amusing to see a list of UN numbers on wikipedia. Next, you're comparing apples and oranges. You can't compare a tiny insignificant country with nothing to offer the world to an enormous and diverse country like the US that pours money into research. It's very easy to get statistics and polls to say whatever you want. One of the main reasons for our lower life expectancy is diet, which has absolutely nothing to do with our health care. On top of it, Norway doesn't have the immigration problems we do. We have a huge influx of people from third world countries that **** up our numbers in every way possible. Furthermore, Norway doesn't have even remotely the military we do, and they can do that because they've been under our umbrella for so many years. It's one of the reasons I feel the US needs to completely pull out of Europe and renig on its alliances with NATO. Fact is that NATO=US military power and not a whole lot more. Let the little communists in Europe defend themselves for once and see if they want to keep that paper thin army as they spend all their money on their social programs.

Agreed. We should be putting all that money we save on bases and personnel into new advanced weaponry and into tax cuts. While we're at it, lets implode the UN building and disband it. That's just more money saved and we can even get rid of a bunch of spies and corrupt internationalists trying to undermine our sovereignty all in one go.

Actually, respect is earned through wiping out your enemies, not going in and babysitting revolutions and propping up weak corrupt governments. Take the gloves off, do what is necessary to wipe out anyone and everyone who opposes us, and then get out. It's that simple. Then take steps to prevent anyone from entering this country that could pose a threat. Liberalism and multiculturalism is what brought about 9/11. If we had been doing things properly those guys never would have been allowed in this country in the first place. Also, if anyone should get in our way of enforcing the new rules by claiming racial profiling and other ridiculous bull****, I have nothing against assassination. It's high time we decreased the attorney population in this country.
