'Tis a better system than the "**** the poor" system we've got now.

What are you going to do for the airlines? Assuming you want a flight? You think that you have something to offer to everyone from which you require service?
In a simpler time, maybe. The concept of money and it's exchange has been around a long time, and with reason.

The concept of money has mainly been for the benefit of the lords of the land, not the working people.

There is a damn good reason why Jesus kicked the money lenders out of the Temple.

AFAWIGD for the airlines....SFA. They don't offer a service in which I'm interested.

Given that DrinkSnax and Slowwie are on their side, clearly the answer is yes!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Not necessarily. You get better production out of well fed, healthy, well motivated workers, and poorly treated slaves require a lot of guarding etc. which isn't cheap.

nah - you treat slaves well enough, put them a cheap exploding GPS collar around the neck, which the law enforcement can explode if the slave really does not want to come back, and work to repay his debts... due to tolerable living conditions and the enforcement part - the slaves are content + work for almost free (until they repay the debt). All they cost is food and living space, and you keep that well enough so they do not want to commit suicide instead of continue to work. There is an incentive to upskill as well, so you can repay the debts faster Eventually the free people live for free and indebted slaves work

                                21st century capitalism
