With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Both our countries need elected cops. I see no other way to eliminate police brutality other than dismantling the whole system and rebuilding it from the bottom up.

The police have the right to take in a citizen who might be suicidal!

Secondly, the subject was obviously acting in a manner that may have endangered the officers and the officers acted in an appropriate manner, by using less than lethal force(by using their taser) against a subject who was obviously resisting.

Christ, maybe I should have made the title "stop twitching or we taze you one more time"

"Don't twitch" is an order, too, so yeah, taze away.

No offense, but aren't you in the risk of being tazered and having a heart condition ? I mean, you have a bit of a temper

Because tazers are "non-lethal", too many police departments abuse them all the time.

At least in NYC, only supervisors get to carry tazers in their vehicles and there is just as much paperwork to do after discharging a tazers as with a gun, which makes officers far less likely to use them on occasions in which verbal commands or lower levels of force might have sufficed.

Yes, but only because attorneys are notorious for overestimating their chances for success. Sad thing is it's the more or less true part of what he posted (the first part) that makes me the most uncomfortable.
