On Friday August 27th, automobile industry in Russia was specially supported by current Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin. He decided to drive a canary-yellow Lada Kalina Sport produced by the Avtovaz carmaker on the 2000-kilometer highway between the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk and Siberia\'s Chita. The road is scheduled to be opened for traffic in September.

Russian Prime Minister was reported to wear a casual polo shirt and sunglasses. When he stopped to fill up the petrol after 400-kilometer journey, he commented on Lada Kalina Sport with a group of tourists that it created a comfortable and reliable feeling. Asked why he chose this latest model of the Avtovaz carmaker, he suggested buying a Lada Kalina Sport and assured that customers would not regret about it.
