      Is a state fair a private function, ticket holders etc?

      Regardless, if someone is off his nut at your event/park/train station then you can tell them to STFU or GTFO.

          Actually, no, you have every right to be loud and nuts publicly if you're not harming someone, at a public event. And I have to assume that the Alaska State Fair is a public, government-run event.

                            Is the Alaska State Fair a public or private event? To play the devil’s advocate and assume that the event is a private paid-admission style event, then the security personnel had the right to take the action that they did. Now on the other hand, if the event was being held in a public venue, then by all means the protestor has every right to be there, and be as obnoxious as he wishes(providing he is not physically causing anyone harm or engaging in activities which are deemed illegal in the State of Alaska).
