Well no one else in the company knows PHP, and also I use some pretty arcane APIs. And I'm an intern, ***** work is basically the job description.
By the way I finished it all in about 4 hours. Done now

I love it. It's the easiest way to exchange data between systems. Take a few seconds to write up the schema, publish it, and there's no ambiguity in file formatting. And virtually every language has free libraries to read/write XML into object hierarchies or other data structures.
