The last time I went to a move theater was 2003. I know, it's been 7 years since I went to a movie theater. Pretty long time. What was this last movie that I saw? It was a movie with an, I guess, ironic title but ever since this movie, I have resolved to never give theaters my hard-earned money. What was this movie?

I never knew a 'comedy' could be so infuriating.

To be fair, Anger Management probably wasn't that bad it just made me so angry at the time. I don't remember specifics, but Jack Nicholson's character was ****ing evil and that ticked me off.

        I've seen none of those.

Battlefield Earth is Number one on my list...

But I have to disagree on Meet the Spartins. Frankly, I thought it was a better movie than 300

All the worst movies I have seen are on planes and are usually ones that i KNOW will be bad but when you fly a lot you run through the good ones and I can only work so much on the plane

The most putrid-- "All about Steve"-- probably the worst movie I have ever seen

I haven't seen any of the flicks on your list

Catwoman is up there. I saw it on a cross-country flight. About midway through I took out the earphones and just sat there, watching the screen without sound, and it was still terrible.

Poseidon was awful because it was a disappointing remake of one of my favorite cheesy disaster flicks, and I paid full ticket price for it, which hurt even more. I remember at one point in the movie a female character was killed, and it took me 5 minutes to figure it which one it was, since they were all interchangeable (skinny brunettes).

I've seen some pretty bad independent movies via Netflix, but won't count those.

Usually I'm pretty successful at avoiding seeing movies that are obviously going to be bad.

The last ten years has produced a long list of **** movies! Has anyone seen a good movie this year?

A lot of movies I see (usually on planes) are just simply mediocre. If a movie has a couple of "stars' it might make the cut as airline entertainment and since they lag theatre release by a bit, they avoid some of the stupendously bad stuff . . . and of course they never show anything controversial or which might offend many people. The result is mainly warmed over drivel with plots that can be followed easily even when half asleep at the end of 7 hours of travel

The main thing for me is how freaking obvious most movies are. Sometimes I wonder if all Hollywood does is recycle the same dozen scripts again and again

                          The second Bridget Jones film...

I knew beforehand that it would be awful, and sure enough I suffered through the whole thing, but it was with my girlfriend at the time. Give-and-take and all that...

Fortunately, she didn't like it either! We're married now...

I did. Mediocre, but not utterly atrocious. 300 was far worse. I only saw it because Drake kept whining at me that I couldn't say a movie was utter crap without actually watching it. So I saw it, and made a thread to confirm that it was, indeed, utter crap, exactly as I had predicted (if anything, it was worse). Drake, however, has still not apologized.
