Drake was Francis Drake's SURNAME! Not his given name.

My name is usually a surname as well.

To be fair, Speer is actually named after a Nazi architect.

I share the exact name of a NFL defense man, which is why I never Google myself. But it's pretty awesome, although it'd be better if he played for the Vikings!

Yes, but parents who want their kids to be completely awesome like Sir Francis Drake use "Drake" as a given name, as using "Francis" would have the opposite effect of that intended.

Since I'm a geek, I created a graph to chart my name's conquest of America:

Notice how after I was born the name rocketed up in popularity, then held steady for a while until my career began, then started growing in popularity again.

                Coincidence? I think not.

Can you now create a map of your homosexual namesake's conquest of Asia?

Yeah, the same goes here, but I actually don't mind - there is some fun in bashing people that can't get the name right

Only problem is when insurance, officials etc. get it wrong
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I like how you italicized Sir like that means something...

                        How about this:

Baron de Ramsey, of Ramsey Abbey in the County of Huntingdon, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.
My name is part of a title!

There is a mathematical theory called "Ramsey's theory". There is an economic model called the "Ramsey's Problem"

And the variation Ramsay has been held by 4 Sirs (including a Nobel prize winner), a marquess, and two earls.

                        Booyah-kah!

I see "Jayden"s all the ****ing time in my practice. Never see "Jason"s, which is now #66. It was #2 when I was born, which isn't surprising, and there were five of us in a 30-kid biology class in 9th grade.
