  • The World is coming to Cardiff!

You know, that millionaires' floating home that cruises all over the place...?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_(cruise_ship)

Well apparently it's coming to little bijoux Cardiff for 3 days this Sunday:

So I guess I'll pop along and have a look...

The residents get to vote where the ship goes and apparently it was the chance to play a round of golf on the 2010 Ryder Cup course at the Celtic Manor Resort that proved the major draw!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

    Thanks for this thread.

      My pleasure!

I can also be safe in the knowledge that the World won't be coming to Calgary...

Why does that ship have to go to Wales? Why can't it hang around the Horn of Africa. I would love to see Somali pirates get their hands on that thing.

Watch out Mobby - they are visiting to catch some of the locals they can train to nonskilled labor such as toiletcleaning, dishwashing etc.

Oh, wait, why don't you volonteer ? It can only be an improvement of your current life
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Why has someone projectile vomited all over that shark?

I loaded up Freeciv.net when someone advertised it on the Other Games Forum and I didn't get to select a civ or anything... I promptly turned off the game when I built my first city and it was... Cardiff

Speaking of projectile bodily substances... you wouldn't believe the kind of stuff I have witnessed. I have once seen a desecration like no other in a bathroom stall. Words can not describe the horror of what my eyes laid upon. It caused men to rush to other stalls to vomit.

The only positive thing out of the experience was that I was not the one who had to clean it up. I can't imagine how that was even accomplished.

Nor even can I imagine how that foul desecration was the product of man born of woman.

I remember once going to toilet and noticing it had the biggest turd ever lodged in it, I mean, it it must have had a diameter of 10-15cm and was completely stuck. It was disgusting and had to move along. I am just trying to remember where that was...somewhere in the Midlands I think, perhaps Coventry, maybe even Birmingham.

                            Clearly produced by a homosexual.

But no, Provost, this was far worse than anything you've ever seen. The diameter is not the issue here. VOLUME was the immeasurable horror. This was not human.

I can only imagine how much fecal waste a 700 lb man would produce but this exceeded my most wild imagination.

(and if Mobius wonders why a thread about Cardiff has turned into a discussion of fecal horrors... Judging from the opinions of our English posters, it's only logical )

Yeah, I remember seeing a program about the fattest man in the UK, and holy ****, the crap he put inside himself was incredible. Apparently he was eating 48000 calories a day, approximately

Perhaps you could get some lessons off him!
