Yawn, everyone looking at the race angle like some idiot. In fact, deception as a way to sex has been declared as equal to rape in many other cases in Israeli law ( a man who described himself as a high ranking diplomat was convicted of rape, and some other cases).

Remember that in parliamentary systems following English traditions "the government" can be used to refer specifically to the ruling party/coalition as well as generally to all the apparatus of the State.

Nah, bull****. It's not trial by jurors, but rather by judges, who are, generally speaking, moderately left-wing. The israeli court system is in problem. An arab car thief tried to run over a jewish policeman, who placed an ambush on the thief, the cop shot him, and killed him. The cop was found guilty of manslaughter ( another case from the last couple of days ). This was a clear cut case of self-defense ( clear and present danger- close range speeding vehicle - in fact, another cop is in a comma because of a very similar case ).

The judicial system here faces difficulties. But to decry it as racist is simply incorrect. In fact, it has been a punching bag for the right for ages.

It was a reference to the fact that rape by deception apparently includes a man lying about his material worth so women would have to check income first and men disclose it to avoid rape by deception... take that mixed in with the Jewish stereotype of being so concerned with money... and you have a humorous, if in bad taste and stereotypical, joke.
