  • I have decided I like cotswold cheese.

Double Gloucester Cheese with onions and chives rocks. That is all.

    Chive? What's that?

It's a mixture of jive and the language spoken by chavs.

That's a boring cheese. Try roquefort or at the very least, a tasty stilton.

I've had both of those cheeses but never had an onion cheese before. Thus my reaction and the thread.

Steer clear of Dutch hard cheese. They're boring and taste of rubber. Yak.

There is an old Dutch family a bit north of where I live who run a creamery and make some really great smoked gouda.

Smoked cheese is all right, but it's high time you developed a blue cheese habit.

Honestly, other then used occasionally on salad I haven't had blue cheese. What do you recommend?

Roquefort, Stilton, Bleu de Gex, Haut-Jura, Danish Blue, but least of all is Gorgonzola which I hate. Try them all, but go to a store who will let you have a little of all before deciding what to buy a decent amount of.

I was in Gloucester only today at a Management Group Meeting...

You should try the Gloucester Old Spot pigs as well!

Try Cambozola, It's a cross between Camembert and Gorgonzola invented by the Germans in the '70s...

Sounds interesting, well, apart from the origin...
