We just had a minor earthquake...

I hope it was a minor tremor and not some explosion related to G8/G20...

Are you sure it wasn't just something you felt because.............. never mind,
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

It's some space alien stuff, landing, first contact, fullscale invasion or somesuch. They just made up the earthquake story to keep everyone calm.

                Earthquake shakes central Canada, U.S.

Ground moves in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal

There are reports of unusual ground shaking in various parts of Ontario, including Ottawa and Toronto. The Toronto newsroom of The Globe and Mail shook just before 1:45 p.m. EDT. The Ottawa newsroom was evacuated.

Various reports on Twitter suggest the earthquake was felt as far away as Ohio, New York and Michigan.

The earthquake shook buildings in Ottawa, where the streets are crowded with office workers who evacuated their workplaces.

“We felt the building shake. It was actually it was pretty serious. It was definitely the strongest quake that I ever felt,” said Dennis Choquette, a Globe and Mail online editor.

The shaking lasted about 15 seconds, Mr. Choquette said.

                More to come

Early reports have it as a 5.7 originating from Quebec?

I'm surprised Mr. Fun hasn't stopped by the thread to laugh at our misfortune.

I was outside London and didn't feel a thing.

Felt it a bit here in Montreal. My friends and family in Ottawa said it lasted about 20 secs and people were running out of the buildings.
                              What?
