I'm using the vacation days up because I've been told the company never cashes them out like they're supposed to when you quit and haven't used them up. I don't want to deal with that headache, so I'm using up every last bit of it. Including the 0.33 vacation day balance I'd have accrued by my departure date -- I'm taking a third of a day off next week on Friday.

A lot of companies do not ALLOW you to use your vacation days... and they don't compensate you.
