    Explain to me 'Drake'

    What the ****ing **** is this ****?

    And why is a Jewish African-Canadian who grew up in a wealthy neighborhood in Toronto starring in an after-school-special TV show pretending like he's some ghetto rapper?

    Why is this so ****ing terrible? He's even ****ing auto-tuning his ****ing RAP.

    Hip-hop is a ****ing disgrace.

    Drake is actually a pretty good rapper and a fair singer. Suck it, Asher. What's your point?

        What makes his rapping good? It's monotonous, droning, bland, and obviously a front.

            Only the one I've embedded. I was reading an article on him in today's paper which embedded it.

            I laughed it was so bad, then I see it's got over 12.5 million views on youtube. christ.

                    Asher, real talk, you can't judge someone's entire ability by one song, let alone a pop single for mass consumption... although if you listened to more of his stuff, I doubt you'd like it since you just plain don't like this sort of music.

                      Also, Asher, as he's gotten more popular, his songs have become more simplistic and pop-friendly. This is an example of vintage Drake:



                      It's not your type of music but I hope you can at least appreciate Drake's talent.

                        Degrassi existed because of government Canadian Content regulations. It doesn't mean anyone thought he could act. It meant he fit a target minority demographic for a show with Government funding.

                            Reciting trite, cliched stories in quasi-prose with a predictable cadence and an obnoxious beat in the background...sounds like every other ****ing rap song on the face of the planet.
