The Dutch destroyed the game with the way they played. The refereeing team did as well as he could to keep up with the constant stream of fouling.

@Mike: no, the referee destroyed the game, together with the hard dutch and the diving spanish card beggers. but for the record, the Spanish team also had some naughty fouls. But because the Dutch 'started' it, the stuff done by Spain is overlooked.

Spain was better, and deserved the win for that.
Throughout the entire tournament Germany most probably deserved it most.
