      • I have also been cheering for the USA, in football/soccer they are underdogs and I can't help cheering for them

        • Me too, they play in the right spirit and deserved to top the group. Shame it was at our expense, but we didn't play well enough against Algeria.

he puts up his arm to defend himself from a guy coming from behind. common practis is football. check the replayes and watch how little kaka is even intrested in keita. there is no force what so ever behind that "elbow". keita wasnt paying attetion where he was running, hade kaka not shielded himself whit his arm he would of been run over.

Yes, but better than soccer. Hockey > tennis > soccer.

                      • Wimbledon is actually quite similar to the World Cup, when you think about it. Both are played on grass, both involve athletes who aren't athletic enough to play North American sports, and the English can't win either.

                          • Congrats USA! What a spirit. The United States team was trailing in two games and de facto trailing in the third. Still the team managed to secure first place, even in spite of two legitimate, but disallowed goals. Awesome! And now the 1/8-final opponent is Ghana rather than Germany which should make for a fair and better chance of making it even further.

Bullsh!t. I've seen this this episode from the different camera and it was pretty clear that Kaka did strike that guy with his elbow intentionally. I can't find this reply on youtube now due to FIFA policy. But Kaka did strike him. And that was a red card offence. Simple as that.

pretty clear that kaka is just avoiding getting run over by a player whit no attention of where he is going.
