  • The Comprehensive Guide to Pooping in Public

    Public restrooms that is.

There are some subtle things that should definitely be considered when using a public restroom that I have discovered through careful contemplation and experience.

    1. How to choose a stall

Obviously, you aren't going to find too many restrooms with the exact same layout, but here are some guide lines for common layouts.

    u = urinal, | o | = stall

    Layout A: Opposite sides

    u u u u

    | o | o | o | o |

In restrooms like this, it is best to stick with the middle stalls. The ones on the end are the most likely to be used a) by people in a hurry or b) when the urinals are full. The more people you have standing and peeing in a bowl, the better the chances of inaccuracy and wet seats.

    Layout B: In Line

    u u u u | o | o | o |

In this instance, it is best to go for the one as far away from the urinals as possible. Again, you reduce the risk of a wet seat.

The exception to both of these is a Handicapped stall. This should always be the first choice, as it takes a real douchenozzle to pee on the seat in a handicap stall and not clean it up.

    2. A Warm seat is a good thing!

    This is for two reasons:
    a) It feels nicer than a cold seat
    b) It means that someone else cleared it of any possible problems.

    3. Always wash your hands.

Everyone knows this one. Water, soap, scrup, rinse. The danger hear is leaning against the counter. People are messy, and the water on the counter is hard to see! Avoid crotch lines! DO NOT LEAN AGAINST THE COUNTER.

Okay, that's all I've got. Any additions?

Doesn't everybody know this stuff intuitively?

I tend to favor the farthest stall from the door (assuming it's not handicap which it sometimes is).

Flush after dumping. Someone on my floor covers his **** with toilet paper and leaves it there.

I only did this in a garden, and when I was a kid, the owners of the house probably thought it was a dog. I wanted to feel how it was like to be a hunter gatherer

He should be taken into the fields and shot.

The worst I've seen was a log of a turd in the toilet with NO toilet paper in the toilet!

I suspect it's not too hard to differentiate between dog and human ****. Although I imagine they are far more similar to each other than human **** is to let's say horse ****.

Didn't Pekka have a thread about this once? It covered things quite comprehensibly if I recall correctly.

I always try to crap at work, because they have half-decent bog-roll, and it gives me a brief break from asswipes who want my advice about basic **** (knowledge) they should know already.

d-o-y, it's the same for me. Sometimes, I just need a break. A little slice of solitude.
