  • Gary Coleman Is Dead

    RIP
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Hard to believe Todd Bridges is the last surviving kid from Diff'rent Strokes.

Hadn't heard he died yet, just in the hospital. Oh well. Had to happen someday.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

I heard it on the radio a short time ago. Brain hemorrhage.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Another morbid death thread? See? This is what's admirable about the Dead Pool. Confinement of a grave subject.

Gary Coleman did it. She made fun of his height.

I never watched Diff'rent Strokes (except the inevitable cultural backwash). The guy couldn't act worth a damn and seemed to be a Class A Pud. I chalk it up to child actor syndrome -- that's gotta be a rough ride.

Still, I take pleasure in no one's demise and hope he rests in peace.

I'm no more bothered by his death than by anyone else's. Sure, death is always sad, and inevitable, but I really don't feel the need to make something big out of the death of someone I didn't care about.

I am pretty sure if there's a God he won't want anything to do with Gary Coleman. Especially after what he did to that intern. And it's no wonder people don't mention he played Urkel on Family Matters. Better to not speak ill of the dead

They were both dark, so it must have been the same guy.
