Ironic, considering she comes from the land that gave the world pants.

I don't see what the big deal is. I never wear pants when at home. As soon as I'm inside my door off they go! The girlfriend's the same, if she knows she's not going anywhere until it's time to sleep she changes into her favorite shorts, and fine with me goddamnit.

I think the real question is why are you not wearing pants?

And Kitschum, I think not wearing pants covers shorts as well...

Fair enough, Imran, I guess it covers shorts, even if they're really short. But are you telling me you wear pants when you're alone? What for?

Because I want to? You never know when someone will up and knock on your door, or you have to run back outside... so what's the point in taking your pants off only to put them back on again?

If someone knocks on my door they can wait while I put some pants on.

Nobody knocks on my door. They'd have to breach the building first.

hmmm-- If I plan to work in the garage or basement or go back outside, I will likely wear pants/jeans

If I am staying inside I almost invariably switch to shorts-- It combines comfort with enough decency to answer the door

I wear big, comfy, ugly flannel pajama pants around the house.
