    AT&T is actually holding Apple back in the US. Rumour has it Apple is going to break their contract soon and let Sprint and Verizon offer the iPhone.

      That's not the allegation. The allegation is they are using their dominant position in the current market to keep the little guy down. Not unlike MS did with Netscape, for which they were convicted.

        They had a similar deal in the UK, but as soon as it ran out they sold it to everyone. They are now on all networks.
