In the US they have an exclusive agreement with only one network and that network provider is contractually obligated to share part of the profits with Apple. I'd suggest the UK has much better anti-trust laws then the US has.

That's not the allegation. The allegation is they are using their dominant position in the current market to keep the little guy down. Not unlike MS did with Netscape, for which they were convicted.

They had a similar deal in the UK, but as soon as it ran out they sold it to everyone. They are now on all networks.
