      Greatest game ever?

Who remembers the end when you can stay longer on the trail or go down the river to finish faster? And the river was filled with rocks you had to get past. I remember that used to be epic when someone would get to that and everyone would huddle around to watch.

Edit: The turtle thing drew designs when you wrote a mathmatical formula, right? I remember using that back in the early 80's.
Yeah but this was 3rd grade for us. So I guess we had a simpler version. Around 1993.

I think Oregon Trail is something of a shared heritage among everyone born in the 80's. It seems like every single school had it and we all played it.

                Is this in inner-city philly?

That's one hell of a mental image.

and then who remembers when the first Macintoshes started coming out and they started to have them in school? I remember it always being a mad rush in computer class to try to get to sit at one them.

                  And they had a mouse!

                          Speaking of old shows...

                          Remember Square One?

                          Or Ghostwriter?

I never realized how 'ethnic' Ghostwriter was. Two spanish kids, an asian kid, and a black kid haha. oh yeah and the corny white girl. she was always annoying.
