Oh look a military aircraft outside our plane, they must be getting ready to send in a boarding party to retake control. Oh no, that's right, they only have missiles, they're going to kill us or do nothing at all. Guess I can relax.

Are you stupid? I think I was clear. I can relax because I know the bird cannot be flown into innocent civilians. No Flight-93 actions necessary.

Now if passengers on civil/commercial aircraft are armed, then it would cut down on the potential for hijacking or other potential incidents involving aviation.
