The thread was closed primarily because (a) the thread starter asked for it to be closed and (b) I thought it best if the OT moderators discussed whether or not we should even allow such threads on Apolyton before proceeding.

There's no way that my closing the thread was "aiding and abetting" because I couldn't permanently delete a thread from the internet if I wanted to and because I didn't even try to delete it; I just moved it to the OT moderator forum.

Also, I'd much prefer if this thread continued on the topic of me being a Stalin-esque dictatorial moderator-king rather than descending into the all too familiar melee of posters hurling insults at one another about past issues.

Since when does that have anything to do with it? It's any form of knowing concealment that makes one an accessory after the fact. To take evidence of a crime and put it in a "safe" instead of "burning" it makes no dispositive difference. In contrast, my merely refraining from reporting your criminal offense is not actionable under even the most strict misprision laws, though I'm tempted to do my civic duty anyway.
