By the way, Nashville is not particularly redneck. It's actually remarkably like Northern Virginia except the traffic doesn't suck, the weather is generally nicer, and there's more country music.

They were pretty good this year. They made it to the playoffs, which means they're in the top 16 of 30 teams.
They're very impressive because they have a tiny budget but compete with teams operating at the salary cap.

From afar, it's almost surreal to watch this happening to a place so familiar... to see it happen to some random town is one thing; to see it happen to a city I called home for most of my life is quite another.
The Nashville floods kind of got ignored due to the attempted NYC car bombing and the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I have to admit the local weatherman in Nashville accidentally drawing a giant penis on his weather screen was kind of funny.
Kind of like the major highways in Dallas/Ft. Worth.
