China is a paper tiger. Its economy is BS controlled value currency based on a complete lack of developed labor, environmental and political law. If someday China tries for 1st world labor, environmental, human rights and political laws... it will fragment or fall like sediment to the ocean floor. It can roar all it wants, it lives deep in yesterday.
And this paper tiger roars "US debt", as if that is an asset. Debts held are called liabilities. We could pull the rug from beneath the paper tiger, in the unlikely event it would matter.

It's not unsubstiantiated.
We know China's currency valuation is dictated in a control economy policy. We know China lacks labor, environmental, human rights and political law.
Do you deny that?
It's unsubstantiated, to a fkn idiot.

I mean seriously, are you trying to claim they're not developing quickly?

Learn some Chinese. I gave you a free lesson how to say "I surrender" when a bunch of armed Chinese folks will point their guns on you.
You should be greatfull for that precious knowledge.

You'll need to figure that out on your own. It's too basic.
I'll give you a hint:
Those things are not free. Right now, in China, they are market externalities and abused commons capable of crushing the illegitimate authority and exchange. All of the aforementioned concerns are revolutions that are already (mostly) endured in the west and ae always both costly and destabalizing; there is no guarantee China will emerge from these revoltutions even slightly similar to its present form.Last edited by Ecofarm; April 12, 2010, 15:46.

Leave it at this:
China does not play by the same rules yet. Ok? When we compare the economy of China and a western one, it is apples and oranges. We cannot really compare their economy to western ones until they start playing by the same rules economically, socially, ecologically and politically.
And until that day... the dream of lasting peace...

Actually, we need to start playing by China's rules.“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”
"Capitalism ho!"
