Edit: Showed the pics to my new gf, and she was all like "aww take that away poor elephant."
"It was already dead you know?"
"Yes but not the little cute elephant!"
"Haven't you ever seen a cow butchered, I don't really see how this is any more gross."
Why does the paper carry a disclamer for presenting these images? Why are Elephants SWPL but Cows aren't? And why would anyone object to the people in the picture eating the elephant if they are starving. Actually I wouldn't have a problem with them killing and eating the elephant if they are starving.
