I think it's time for me to take a good break from this site. I'll hang out here for one or two more days to check back on this thread but after that, I'll stay away until probably early May.

While I wait for the end of April when I have my psychiatric appointment, I continue to struggle with my depression. When I come back in early May, I can provide an update about my first appointment for those who participated in my thread about my depression. One of my friends told me that should I go onto prescription, that I will need to stop ALL drinking of alcohol. I don't go out very often here in Springfield, but starting now, I am going to just have non-alcoholic drinks when I do go out (I don't keep alcohol here at home). Then should I have to have a prescription, I will already have the habit of abstaining (from alcohol - ahem).

On another note, I've made an ass of myself too often on here lately (such as health care thread). When I come back, I'm going to really make sure I know what I'm talking about before participating in serious discussion threads. I want to spare others on here from anymore headaches on my account.

Go to 90 meetings in 90 days. You'll probably find that it becomes less a chore and more something to look forward to. And for your own sake, get a sponsor you feel comfortable with, who you want to impress even.
