I bought it while on holiday in California, where I still am. (By the way, I normally reside in Australia, which is rather a long way away).
Anyway, after a little trial riding up in to some mountains north of LA, I'm about to head up Highway 1 to Monterey (via Hearst's Castle), then across to Mammoth Lakes (via Bodie), and then back to LA - 3 days.
Would anyone care to suggest things to look at along the way, or even modifications to the route (with justifications of course)?
By the way, the bike is a model I used to lust after when I was in my teens, over 20 years ago. It's a 23 year old bike, new when I wanted one. At last we are together, and it's a match made in heaven
