    Plus the vast majority of the abuse seems to have happened in like the 60's & 70's. The Church did a pretty bad job trying to cover all that up, but they *seem* to have done a better job with screening priests and guarding against it in recent decades.

            Are you seriously claming that not one of the priests didn't try to push some religious belief on you ?
            With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

                We know that as a fact, but the poor child could have ben abused in other ways as I suggested
