  • Global Warming prevents a war

    Nothing left to fight over.
For nearly 30 years, India and Bangladesh have argued over control of a tiny rock island in the Bay of Bengal. Now rising sea levels have resolved the dispute for them: the island's gone.

New Moore Island in the Sunderbans has been completely submerged, said oceanographer Sugata Hazra, a professor at Jadavpur University in Calcutta. Its disappearance has been confirmed by satellite imagery and sea patrols, he said.

Actually, the end of the Cold War is the primary reason for global warming.

    Fact!

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

I had forgotten about that. Maybe Somalia is where the IPCC guys should look to account for recent cooling trends in the lower latitudes.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Sinking or erosion mostly I would imagine, after all the island was 2 metres high at one stage and the oceans have not yet risen that much ( Adelaide would be half gone if it had)
