I presumed she's spoken there plenty, I should not have attributed plenty to this tour. My "she's spoken in Canada plenty" and "how ironic is the title of the tour" got mashed together. My mistake.

Meh. Just quibbling.
I wonder how the Calgary speech will fare?
It is a more conservative part of the country but it will still be before students. :sigh: (sorry Ozzy)"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow

Assuming you went to university (a big assumption given your debate skills in this thread), how many of your exams were interrupted by fire alarms? I'm sure you had at least one. And I promise, the guy who pulled it didn't do it to threaten you.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

She's so outrageous, I'd read the book if someone had it around. Some part of me just loves making an inappropriate joke at an inappropriate time. Someone's got to be the person to say stuff like "hey, that baby is ugly", someone's got to say what people expect just to piss us off. Coulter is not stupid, nor does she incite hate; she's just not PC and quite revels in flaunting that. I like to flaunt un-PC stuff for fun and profit too sometimes, but I don't get to do it on CNN. Don't be such a hater, she makes some decent points.

I realize she's a showman/huckster but I won't support her gig. I find her too unpleasant to enjoy. Sorry"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow

Ok fine, maybe a few people do go nuts now and then and sure some even get TV shows despite obvious spirals of delusion... but it's worth the freedom. If .0001% can't hang, tough crap.

And in Germany the Nazis can't talk, and in the UK Michael Savage cannot. Let's not pretend this is about 1 person; this is about freedom and its abridgement. What's next, hate speech crimes committed against the government? Let's put Chavez and Putin in charge? Maybe we need some national ideological police too. Wouldn't it be great if some of those "journalists" who we are politically opposed to were jailed or, mmm, disappeared?
