How very true this is. One of my high school friends went on an exchange to the United Staets and ended up in a very religious family somewhere in a middle state that most Europeans can't place. COnsidering he was a precocious atheist with a Scorsesian vocabulary that relied on plenty "fwck this" and "fwck that" he had a hard time with acculturation.

Further, I would expect people here to be smarter than average because this website is built around a game for smart people, not console players. An "average" intelligence person would probably not ever bothing trying to play Civ.

It's a well known fact, there have been numerous studies confirming the relationswhip between intelligence, mental health and social skills. I learned that way back when I was a college student, nearly 40 years ago now and I'm not going to go look it up.

If you think that Civ is beyond the capacity of a person of average intelligence then I suspect that you may be hanging out with a crowd most of whom had some alcohol poured into their incubation jars.

He said that capitalism doesn't work very well. He didn't say that communism wasn't worse. Capitalism, like democracy, is not actually a great idea. It's just less wretched than the alternatives.
