  • So who is excited about the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Dehli, India?

I'm actually thinking about attending. I've never been to India and the Commonwealth Games seems like a good time to go.

For those who don't know the Common Wealth Games happens every four years and is like the Olympics but only former members of the British Empire may send teams. Personally, I would like to see the US send a team even though even if that is not politically possible simply because I don't think games harm anyone but it might just help build international spirit.

The US would be welcome to send a team just as soon as it chooses to join the Commonwealth of Nations. Queen Elizabeth II would be happy to overlook your former rebellious behaviour; she's a very understanding woman.

I see the excitement is reaching a crescendo.

No. revolting colonials are not welcome. To attend you must first re-submit to the authority of the Crown, and pay reparations for that nonsense back in 1776.

You're just angry because Australia wins every time.

I don't even know if that's true or false. NO ONE CARES about this. It's not even mentioned in the sportscast after high school football games.

The Commonwealth Games used to be a really big deal- the biggest sporting event outside the Olympics and World Cup. It's really fallen from fashion, though.
