        Made from different grapes although both related through Pinot Noir. Pinot Grigio is the Italian name for Pinot Gris. So in French you have Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, in order darkest grape to lightest.

        They do make quite similar wines. Where were they from?
