It has seemed much more civil to me, but I can't rule out the possibility that it has something to do with putting Ben on ignore.

Seriously, for a few months I actually noticed a thawing of relations between the posters who remained loyal to Poly. It was almost as if we were emerging from under the dark cloud of disruptive and contrary posters...
People were praising each other, arguments less partisan - that sort of thing.
However, recently, things seem to be sliding back to their bad old ways...
