Wow. Considering how little I really hoped for from this administration, I really didn't expect this level of ****tiness from it.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

I, on the other hand, expected every level of **** from this administration. In that sense, Obama's ability to look past political rhetoric and actually act on what is right for the nation is encouraging to me.

In other words, if both Bush and Obama argue in favor of the same thing, when Obama campaigned against that same thing, odds are that they both know something we don't. I'm gonna go ahead and give both of them the benefit of the doubt on this, for pretty logical reasons.

No, because I firmly believe that as much as I might disagree with many US Presidents, they have access to information I don't, and, more importantly, they genuinely want what is best for the US and try to act in that manner.

So you agree with all the actions of every president since Wilson?

you've just turned into a facist who thinks it's ok for the police to beat people or governments to torture 'radical muslims'.

No, I just don't necessarily question their motivations. Jesus.

Congratulations. I'm not a Libertarian, really. I'm Libertarian in many economic matters, and a firm right wing hawk in foreign policy/security matters.

libertarian foreign policy didn't give us 9/11, the right wing hawks stepped in that one

Libertarian foreign policy = weak defense, open pickings for dictators. Think: Neville Chamberlain/appeasement.
