I believe Sweden is expensive. I had my first scotch in a while last Sunday and it was 128 sek for 4 cm (or whatever, a standard shot size I think).
Bottles are definitely cheaper, but still it is expensive I think.

It was a whiskey bar, this is why I had some.
It had more whiskey than any place I had been.

Costco is great for liquor. Costco's house brand Kirkland sells Grey Goose vodka under the house name for like 30% less while Kirkland Champagne is Piper Heidsick also sold for 30% less.
