    Yeah, I responded.

Your 1st alternate is most definitely dead though. Not a common name to confuse with others. Since you provided 6 alternates I'll just move the rest up a notch.

Good list overall. A couple of unique picks and you also kept the most popular two celebs in contention as they are now on all 4 official lists...

For this I'm just going to toss my dwarfs off a cliff. It's fitting.

With his submission Winston raised a couple questions about Rule 17 j)

it occurred to me that rule 17 j) could become a point of contention if not clarified - or dropped altogether. Would you have to actually "claim" at least to deaths for there to be a dry spell inbetween, or could a player or player argue that, seeing as nobody at all included on their lists died, they would naturally have had the longest dry spell possible. I would be in favour of just dropping rule 17 j), it seems counterintuitive to award points for not having people die for any length of time. That's not what we're here for!

                  The Rule:

                  j) The Empty Casket Award: +50 points awarded at the end of the year to the player who had the longest "dry spell" between deaths.

Clarifying the rule is easiest so I'll address that first. No, you don't have to have a death to be eligible for this Award. The clock starts running for every player on Jan 1st. If you are lucky enough to have a "hit" your chance of winning this award obviously decreases. Quite frankly, in 2008 it was a consolation prize of sorts for people that went all year without a "hit".

The second issue is a good one - Does this rule violate the principle of the game in that it rewards people for picking celebs that are not dying?

                  What do the players say?

It's in direct opposition to what we're trying to do here, which is predict death.
I don't support empty caskets. No death, no points.

                          Noted.

Btw, You and Winston are the only two teams without team names.

It wouldn't make the difference between winning or losing at the game. If you are in contention for the Empty Casket it means you are no where near the top of the leader board.

Mine is without name because my team is in a pile at the bottom of the cliff.

OK. How about Dallas Dead Dwarf Tossers? That will work.
