    I should add that one change that is also very significant is variable culture borders that can be changed by success in war. Certainly makes the game feel more dynamic.

      Apparently they finally released Beyond the Sword for the Mac. Maybe I'll have to finally give Civ IV a try...

      edit: Nevermind. Apparently I don't have a good enough graphics card.
