Post count is an indicator on how much one has invested in the site. Not important in itself, but important enough for me to want all posts to count.

Thanks for getting immediately on top of this situationOrder of the Fly

Totally unimportant, at CG we went out of our way to hide all mentions of post count.Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.

For the record, at one time I was all about the post count.
No, it doesnt mean squat in the big scheme of things.
I have almost allways enjoyed Apolyton, its been a place I have called home since 2000.
I have met many enjoyable people to post with, learn from.
I dont allways agree with all here but do enjoy posting.
Would bother me if we had/didnt have post counts.

Pretty meaningless since it's an editable (by almost any mod or admin) field in your profile. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I never really cared. I post when I feel like posting."I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow
"I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." - Mark Twain
