                • For my friend Sam/Shem who died a while ago. One of the few survivors of the Jewish community in Thessaloniki, a refugee from the Colonel's regime, and one of the wittiest and most cultured people I've ever had the privilege of meeting and working with. A gifted artist and musician and hugely knowledgeable about Greek and world architecture. He was at college with Vangelis and knew him:
