There's a reason a large number of non-Americans (and some americans) feel Iraq was an illegal war.

I already defined as "Yes, the people ruling the country before you/we threw them out. "

To which you replied "There was noone ruling the country before we came. " (apparently accepting the definition).

If you don't like this definition anymore then please say why. What would your definition be and why wouldn't the Taliban government (cited as such btw) qualify?

They weren't sovereign in thier own territory nor were they even recognized as being the legitimate government of Afghanistan by much of the world much less by the US. The worst that you can say about the US in that instance is that we chose sides in a turf war between two armed gangs fighting over control over some ****hole territory.

95% was the reality on the ground. That's pretty damn sovereign.

Just because the west or the US didn't recognise them does not change that reality. You didn't choose sides in a turf war, your side had no turf. You/we overthrew the government.

Was it actually AQ? The Feds have been playing fast and loose with that name.
Well, he had a Muslim name, and was probably a practicing Muslim, and probably hated America.

                Good enough for me

Actually I am. It is nice to see a central american military supporting the constitution for a change.
