  • IMHO persuading people to get involved in the political process is a good thing. I wouldn't criticize drives to increase youth voting on the grounds that young adults are "too stupid" to vote.

      • If you're too lazy to go out and vote unless persuaded, we'd be better off without your opinion's consideration. The exception being in regional elections where an excess of democracy has subverted the democratic process...the answer there really is to have fewer elected officials.

          Fair enough. I thought you were claiming that poor people were at some kind of disadvantage regarding voter registration.
