How German "Cash For Clunkers" is Robbing Me of a New Car

Prices of cars have been falling here since the onset of the crisis/recession and I've been waiting for a good deal. However, the German government decided that I shouldn't get 30% off the price but that instead the industry should survive as if nothing bad has happened. Prices have stopped falling because Germany swallows all the excess cars from the countries where sales have dropped.
