It's a pretty important subplot. I don't remember her acting, but I was not bothered by it. The Professional was great and Portman's very good in it. Everyone and everything was cringeworthy about Star Wars, but she certainly wasn't the worst.
I never caught Garden State knowing that the guy from Scrubs was heavily involved and he is a no-talent emo hack. That show by the way went on way past its due date.
Shatner however is absolutely godawful in everything no exceptions. His lingering popularity after Star Trek, like Chuck Norris's, can only be explained by "ironic" Americans substituting "cheesy" and "old" for funny.

I beg to differ. Her "So love has blinded you?" and "Anakin, you're breaking my heart!" lines in Revenge of the Sith were two of the worst moments in the entire prequel trilogy. And let's not even go into how annoying it was every time she called Anakin "Annie"...
Shatner however is absolutely godawful in everything no exceptions.

Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.

Albeit I still think he's an interesting actor. He's been in a lot of not-so-great movies lately though, probably the most fun was Wedding Crashers."lol internet" ~ AAHZ

the SNL fake skittles ad mocking him was genius.
His scene in True Romance is one of my favorite movie scenes ever. The undeserving maintain power by promoting hysteria.
