I speak, of course, about America's military and economic ties with the government in Canada. Not only are the Canadians engaging in crimes against humanity with their brutal and ongoing repression of indigenous political groups in southern Afghanistan, but they are also amongst the worst countries in the world when it comes to crimes against nature. The fact that the U.S. refuses to cut ties with Canada while the yearly seal hunts still go on should deeply concern every right thinking American citizen. We can't allow our government to stand idly by and ignore Canadian crimes in the interest of profit and "good relations."
The Obama Administration can take a stand right now by rescinding the North American Free Trade Agreement and imposing economic sanctions on Canada. These sanctions should not be lifted until both Canada's imperial outrages overseas and their outrages against nature at home are brought to and end. All military cooperation between the two countries should also be suspended. We Americans have a duty to set a proper example to the rest of the world; shunning Canada is quite simply required if we are to be able to hold our heads up high when we face the rest of the world.
