A couple days ago, the director of Papers of Abraham Lincoln project told me that my last day on this job will be October 15. He said that it's not that I'm a bad employee and is going to give me positive letters of recommendation as I need them during my job search.

I'm hoping I find something here in DC area for a more permanent career/job position.
