  • What is the most noble profession?

Just a question that popped into my head. And by noble, I mean in the moral sense in addition to excellence.

Guards for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Swear an oath to never drink again, never swear again, 365 days a year on guard, even stayed at their posts after President excused them during a hurricane. They are the most dedicated individuals I have ever met. Honorable, loyal, selfless, respectable, dedicated.

The Mayor of D.C. said it was so - is that not good anymore?
