That sort of attention wouldn't keep most women from working in sports. Sexual assault -- and, make no mistake, Andrews was assaulted -- will.

bull****. If you keep broadening the meaning of terms like this they eventually become MEANINGLESS.

Mr. Fun, I invite you to answer this question yet again:

I am curious what the resume bullet that got here hired as a journelist was. Do you think it was...

A.) Being a former Florida cheerleader?

        B.) Being a communications major?
Don't let these feminazis fool you Mr. Fun. Just because you are on TV and have a microphone doesn't make you a journelist. There are many legitimate female journelists, and many of them are not hot, she just happens to not be one of them. Have you ever asked yourself why there are no male sideline anchors?

It's not the 90s. Feminazi is not a clever term.

Something doesn't have to be clever to accurate.

Just because you might be right on some points, doesn't mean your insensitivity with this particular instance is justified.

Its not insensative Mr. Fun. We are mocking the article writer for being self delusional, not the person videotaped. Read the thread again.

And even given that the article's author/blogger was incorrect in using the term assault, does this make the act of violating journalist's privacy more acceptable?

I also invite all you straight dudes to talk about this with your girlfriend/fiancee/wife and see what they think.

Thats is indeed worth making fun of. However, the characterization of her as a journelist and the links being made between her "career" and this voyerism are equally absurd.

I am looking for the serious comment about this act in and of itself being acceptable. You need to take the jokes in the context of the article only.

It makes it more "I honestly don't care".

By the way, you really don't want to support this policy. You know something about history, right?

No. But to go into hysterics about it is ridiculous.

**** happens. If they catch the guy who did it, then prosecute. But to talk about castrating somebody for this, or referring to it as an assault is ridiculous. He didn't ****ing smack her over the head and rape her. The only thing hurt here is her pride.
